A Lazy Day Meal

A delicious lazy day meal...
Prep:

⏲ 45 mins
Oven: 180°C or 365°F

Ingredients:

  • 3 large potatoes, cut into wedges (Or any other veg you fancy)
  • 4 chicken drumsticks (works with any chicken cut)
Now I'm sure that you're wondering of all things lazy day, why would you go for something as simple as wedges and chicken!! but that's it right there, this recipe is so allusive that your mind doesn't even bother with contemplating it and that's why you have me! to help in such areas of the simple life...

Now I'd like to think that we all know how to wedge potatoes... so we"ll go directly into soaking them in warm water to allow some of the starch to excuse itself and then after that all you'll simply have to do is place them onto a well-greased pan with a little salt and pepper reserving the rest of the spices for after the potatoes are cooked.

Now the chicken is not as simple but it really does fall under the lazy day category. All you'll have to do with the chicken is parboil it until all the blood has oozed out. Whilst you chicken is dancing in the pot, what you're going to want to do is start mixing flour and any of your prefered spices, this is what you're going to dredge the chicken in once it's done with the bloodletting part.

Once your chicken has been powdered to an inch of its life with the flour mixture, you're going to place it on a well-greased sheet pan and let it carry on cooking in the oven, flipping it occasionally so that it gets equally tanned in the oven. Don't forget to check on your wedges.
