Detox Through Juicing: Blue Pineapple Detox Smoothie

This smoothie is perfect for boosting the body's immune system, energy and anti-inflammatory.

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup pineapple
  • 3/8 cup tomatoes
  • 1/4 cup blueberries
  • 1 peeled orange
  • 1 tsp acai berry powder
  • 1 tbsp hemp seed
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup ice
Instructions:

Once you have all your ingredients ready, throw them in the food processor or blender until everything has been processed. For people with blenders, your job is over and you can enjoy your smoothie, but for those with food processors, your journey still has one more adventure before you can sip your detox juice. 
Because the food processor does not process everything to the same consistency of a blender, the smoothie will first have to be strained to remove the remaining chunks that could not be processed further (unless you prefer a chunky smoothie).
